imagine arno being a librarian who finds a huge man in the rain covered in bruises, dirt and looks awfully pale and sick and decides to let the stranger live in the library in secret. he notices that he is unable to speak properly so it makes it harder for them to communicate and mister dorian assumes he is mute. as he nurses him back to health the guest seems to be interested in reading books about language, grammar and eventually learns how to write simple sentences. a few years later the man is now well fed, groomed and has developed proper manners, one night he opens the library door with a bag full of clean clothes and has decided to leave, arno yells out “What are you doing?” and the much bigger man simply nods at him and leaving the confused librarian with a “Thank you. You are important.” and after that, they never crossed paths again. a couple years later arno is diagnosed with an incurable disease and is expected to die within a few days, as he closes his eyes the day his body finally gave up he is ended with a steady but pained voice, “Thank you. You are important.”
